This little thing is slick. I grabbed the Micro Ready Rope Raw thinking it came preloaded with rope — heads up, it doesn’t. But once I got past that, I actually really like it.

It’s compact, well-built, and super handy for keeping cord organized and ready to go. The built-in cutter works way better than I expected, and I like that it has a spot to stash small items — a mini lighter, fish hooks, a tiny blade, or whatever else you might want to keep on hand.

I’ve got mine loaded with some bank line right now, and it’s been perfect for throwing in my backpack. It doesn’t take up much room, and when I need cord, I can pull what I need and cut it clean without having to dig for a knife or scissors.

The compartment is small, but enough to be useful, and the fact that it’s reusable and reloadable is a huge plus. If you’re into organizing your gear or want a lightweight addition to your bug-out bag or truck kit, this is a great little tool to have around.

Just remember — this version doesn’t come with rope, so make sure you have some on hand to load it up. Once you do, it’s a game changer.
