Exactly what's needed for storage...

Great little tool. Stores 550 paracord perfectly - ready for any adventure. Now I need to order a lighter to store inside...

Only slightly less awesome than the TRD.

Tangle-free storage of 550 cord , integrated cord cutter, integrated cord lock, integrated storage for a full-size butane lighter and some additional small items, tight fitting lid for the storage compartment. There is a hole in one wing of the bottom next to the compartment opening and a hole in the compartment lid that are big enough to use Atwood Micro or any other 1.18 mm cord to secure the lid to the rest of the Ready Rope unit.

My only question is whether the blade is replaceable by the end-user.

Gets the paracord organized!

I ordered and received the "raw" this time. I ordered/bought paracord from different sources and it was till in hanks in plastic bags. The Ready Rope Raw gives me access to the paracord; lets me get the lengths I need; cut it and (since I have a butane lighter in the storage area) seal the ends. I don't want to even remember the descriptions I used when the rope got tangled but at times it most closely resembled the description of the "Gordian Knot"! ... Alexander's solution was awfully tempting at times but not needed any more.
