This little thing is easily one of the handiest tools I own. The Micro Ready Rope is the smaller version of the full-size Ready Rope, and honestly, I think I use this one even more just because it’s so compact and easy to stash.

I keep one in my tackle box, boat storage box, hunting bag, and the glove box of all three of my trucks. It takes up barely any space, but it’s always there when I need it — whether I’m tying down gear, rigging something quick at the lake, or just fixing something on the fly.

It comes preloaded with 125 feet of micro cord, and for just $13, that’s an unbelievable deal. The built-in cutter is sharp and reliable, the cord feeds out smooth, and the cord lock keeps everything in place — no tangles, no mess.

The little storage compartment is a bonus too. I keep a couple of fish hooks, a mini ferro rod, and some aspirin in mine. It’s not huge, but it’s enough to hold a few key items for emergencies or quick fixes.

What I really like is that it’s reloadable — once I burn through the cord, I just toss in more Atwood Micro Cord and I’m good to go. No waste, no need to replace the whole thing.

The combination of the Ready curd cutter, dispenser, and storage is a small package with a lot of possibilities. The small size cord is strong for its size. A mini Bic lighter is supposed to fit in the container. I haven’t found one to try yet. I don’t know yet if this cord has a “memory” of the shape of it remains on the dispenser a long time. I also purchased glow in the dark cord. It is amazing that it puts out so much light! It really pleasantly surprised me. I have never ordered any product that has disappointed me.

Great company! Love the nano and micro options! Micro cutter is so useful, wish the Nano options also had a cutter.
