ARM Challenge Box

This was an awesome buy, I loved the variety & sheer amount of rope. Most of it was para cord or smaller though, & a lot black or grey, which is pretty much what I expected

Upon opening the box, you wonder, what the heck did I just buy? Then upon the initial separation of the tangled mess, things appear to become more orderly. One by one each of the colors and textures stand alone and after the many spare hours of rewrapping each cord and placing it in a box with the others, it takes on the effect of a beautifully groomed flower garden. The process is similar to and as rewarding as finishing a complex jigsaw puzzle. It is definitely a fun project.

I call it the OCD Challenge (wink wink) - It's been years since I took the ARM Challenge. But it's a very fond memory. I was excited when my challenge box arrived. I had planned on waiting till the weekend to untangle it, but when I got home after work and carried that big ol' box into the house, it called to me. I had to start detangling NOW. 8 hours later it was way past my bedtime, and I was only halfway done. Resisting the urge to stay up detangling all night was one of the greatest challenges I've faced in my life. I worked on it a little in the morning, was late for work, but stayed up all night that next night and finished it. THE CHALLENGE KEPT GIVING - I made all my friends happy because they all got gifts for their own crafts, and I have a deep well of supply for my own rope crafts. Thank You ARM Challenge!

I love Atwood. And Atwood seems to love me back. This box was full of what makes my heart happiest-and its tangles were merely abstract expressions of the deep love we share. Thanks Atwood, what we have is real.
