What is a Tactical Rope Dispenser?

The TRD is a self contained rope dispenser that will deliver a true 550 lb test Paracord reliably so you do not have to deal with knots or tangles. With it's built in cutting blade, you can cut what you need and store the rest, saving time and energy from repackaging bulk cord.

The TRD also comes Standard with a heavy duty belt clip. When worn on the hip, the TRD can easily be used one handed. This can be carried many ways: hip, mounted to your pack, stored in your vehicle or in your toolbox. It will be ready for action when you need it. Why is Paracord so good?

8 Lines in One!

Paracord is one of the best cords to keep with you due to its construction. With it’s massive 550 lbs minimum breaking strength, this cord offers more than just toughness. The inner cores can be pulled from the sheath when more cord is needed. If you pull the 7 strands of core out from the center of a 50 ft section, you will have 8 different lines of 50 ft each leaving you with 400 ft of cord. Additionally the core's design allows it it break down ever further if needed.

Gets the paracord organized!

I ordered and received the "raw" this time. I ordered/bought paracord from different sources and it was till in hanks in plastic bags. The Ready Rope Raw gives me access to the paracord; lets me get the lengths I need; cut it and (since I have a butane lighter in the storage area) seal the ends. I don't want to even remember the descriptions I used when the rope got tangled but at times it most closely resembled the description of the "Gordian Knot"! ... Alexander's solution was awfully tempting at times but not needed any more.

Ready Rope™ Raw

I like the design of the Ready Rope™ Raw. It is easy to spool on cordage and to use when you need a piece of cordage. The price is budget friendly as well. The size is just right for 550 cord and a large Bic lighter. I wish the other colors were available when I purchased mine. I hope the mini Ready Rope comes in different colors. I highly recommend this spool because of its multifunctionality. It holds cordage, has a blade to cut the cordage, has a case to carry a lighter to burn the ends of the cordage, and has a place for a carabiner to carry it. Very pleased with my purchase.

The holder is just the right size to hold plenty of cordage. The storage is great to stash an emergency lighter. It is bright so it is easy to find in the wilderness. A quality product at a great value. I have several.
